Taylor's 2nd Dance Recital

As if I didn't think her dance recital's could ever be any cuter than the her first year, this one was just as cute! Her dance was too David Guerra's 'Where Them Girls At'. There were about 14 girls in her class, and I was really surprised to see how well she kept up with them and knew her dance.
Auntie, Paisley, Memaw and Papa all came to watch, this year!

Camping with the Genzlingers

Even though there was a fire restriction due to the lack of rain, that did not keep the Marquette's and Genzlinger's from a Summer camping adventure. We took up a propane fire pit, two vehicles full of food and pets, and parked ourselves off of Forest Service Rd 300 for two nights. The kids had a blast. It was Kyle's first camping, fishing and gun shooting experience. We packed a lot in for just one full day in the woods!

Gettin' Outta Here!

I sprung a last minute idea on my sister, and much to my surprise, she took me up on it! We decided on a Sunday, to head to Show Low with the kids the next day for a few days. It was so hot here, and neither of us had much going on, so it was the perfect opportunity to get away.
When my mom got wind, she decided to take a couple days off and join us!

Legoland

Since we were not far from Carlsbad, we decided to surprise the girls with a day at Legoland. They had a great time! And to top off our day there, a really nice guy gave us two free adult tickets at the entrance, so we only had to pay for the girls to get in!

Let's go to the beach!

We spent four nights during the first week of June in Dana Point, lazing on the beach! We stayed at a great hotel (except for the 'round the clock train horns!) right across the street from the beach access. My family is so on the same wavelength when it comes to beach trips, and I am so happy for that! We hit the beach right after breakfast, and don't leave until dinner time. We packed our cooler each day and spent hours digging, napping, burying, reading and tanning! The weather was perfect. Mid-70's and sunny each day!
